The Founder
Julio Cesar Macias
Founder & Operator · Toronto, GTA
Julio Macias is the founder and operator of MacTor Construction, the founding company behind the MacTor Group. Originally from Mexico, he built his business from scratch in Toronto, completing his first jobs in 2019 and growing entirely through quality work and word of mouth.
MacTor isn't a corporate chain. It's a family-built business that grew because clients kept coming back and sending referrals. Every brand was created to solve a real problem Julio saw in the market — a service done poorly by generalists, or a niche with no specialist at all.
Julio holds a Project Management certificate from George Brown College — a foundation that shaped how MacTor operates: structured estimates, documented jobs, and clear communication on every project.
Today, MacTor Construction runs Fix My Property and Spray My Brick, with over 900 small and medium projects completed across the GTA. It shares the MacTor Group name with three independently run companies — MacTor Technologies Inc. (which owns Rent My Tools and Inspector MacTor), MactorX (run by Julio's son Julian), and MacTor Tools (a family-run tool business). Julio is still reachable directly — call or text anytime.

The MacTor timeline.
MacTor Construction founded in North York. First jobs completed in the GTA.
Crossed 100 completed jobs. Expanded service range across Toronto and surrounding areas.
Launched fixmyproperty.ca — the group's flagship brand. Built an AI-powered inspection and estimating system.
Launched spraymybrick.com. Sign My Truck begins operations. FixMyProperty Ops maintenance program launched.
900+ jobs completed. Fix My Property and Spray My Brick operate as sibling brands under MacTor Construction; Sign My Truck retired. Rent My Tools and Inspector MacTor go live under MacTor Technologies Inc. MactorX and MacTor Tools join the MacTor Group. mactor.ca relaunches as the group's hub, with each company getting its own identity.
